Dayton Fountains (June 16, 2024)

Out on a Sunday morning, stopped downtown at Deeds Park to see the fountains for the first time in 2024.

Always a beautiful sight, and certainly worth a look. Enjoyed the visit there, and looking forward to seeing them soon at night when they are lit up.

Thanks for visiting my page, and as always...Fuck Trump!

Wheeling, WV to Cumberland, MD and back (June 10-14, 2024)

Quick turn for after a weekend past the Niagara Falls trip spent at home, we were back on the road. This time stopped in Wheeling, West Virginia for an overnight. Got fish sandwiches at Coleman's Fish Market - one of the best I have ever had.

After an overnight at Wheeling, drove to Cumberland, MD where we spent a couple of nights. Great time at a beautiful place.

Fourth photo below is of a lookout of Pennsylvania. Last few photos are from the Wheeling Suspension Bridge. Did another overnight at Wheeling before heading home. It was a fantastic trip!

NIagara Falls and Lake Erie Drive (June 6-8, 2024)

Quick but beautiful trip to New York to visit Niagara Falls. Have been there a few times but never fails to impress. My wife loves it too and we always have a blast there.

On the way up we took the toll roads, on the way back took the scenic ride. Definitely the scenic route was the way to go. Beautiful views of Lake Erie and a lot of very cool small towns. Enjoyed the drive a great deal. Lots of grapes grown in New York and Pennsylvania.

Even a very correct sticker seen about the Orange Felon. Thanks for visiting my pages.

Southern Indiana Visit (May 23-28, 2024)

Spent a few days with my wife in beautiful Rising Sun, Indiana. Was a rainy time but had some sunshine. Being the holiday weekend enjoyed a number of bands and even a parade on Memorial Day in Lawrenceburg.

Friends from Dayton rode down on their motorcycles and had a great time with them. Saw a number of sights around the area and just had a wonderful time.

Brit Floyd (May 17, 2024)

Went with friends last night to the Brit Floyd concert at The Rose in Huber Heights. Was a wonderful concert, the band was fantastic. Sure, a cover band, but Brit Floyd really elevated the term. They had the songs nailed, not sure Pink Floyd could do them as well now.

The arena was wonderful too. All the seats were covered, so rain if it came (didn't in this case) be damned. Lots of places to eat, lots of parking. It was my first time to be there, but will be back and soon with Debbie

Barber Motorsports Museum, Birmingham, Alabama (April 26, 2024)

If you are into motorcycles and some amazing cars, this is your museum. Literally the largest motorcycle museum in the world with over 1100 motorcycles on display. Just remarkable, which really doesn't do the word remarkable justice. All sorts of Lotus cars (again, the largest collection) and some really rare cars such as the one at left which was owned by The Beatles. There is also a road course there. IndyCar ran a race there three days after our visit, practice can be seen in the first bottom photo of two of the cars. Our second visit to this museum, hopefully not the last !

Blue Angels Practice, Pensacola, Florida (April 24, 2024)

We went from Navarre, Florida where we were staying, to NAS Pensacola, Florida. There we saw the Blue Angels Practice Show. It was a beautiful day and a remarkable display of flying. I have been to see them at a few air shows over the years, this was one of the most remarkable. The practice was held at the Naval Air Station and parking was free and easy at the US Naval Aviation Museum.

After the show which lasted approximately 90 minutes, we toured the museum and had a great time.

It was a highlight (both the flight display and the museum) of our trip to Florida.

West Virginia and Maryland (November 12-15, 2024)

Sights during our travels in West Virginia, Maryland, and even a stop (at John and Annie Glenn's house in Ohio) over a four day trip to ...
