Finally, after nearly two weeks of daily heavy rain, a break in the weather. We went to Celina. Ohio to Grand Lake St Mary's to spend some time at the lake. Was relaxing and nice to just enjoy nature. It's a favorite place for us and we both enjoyed the days there. Amazing and beautiful sights - and not a drop of rain!
My wife and me journeyed to nearby Xenia, Ohio to the Fair. Had a wonderful time checking out the sights, sounds, tastes, and especially enjoying checking out the animals there!
We got away for a four day trip to Southern Indiana. Wandered Rising Sun, Lawrenceburg and Aurora, Indiana. Great weather and a wonderful time!
Made a visit back to my homeland for a few days. Unfortunately, weather was terrible. Had amazing rain storms the entire trip, south of us they had floods. Was limited as far as exploring but did get to see some sights in New Albany and even a view of Louisville.
Better weather on the way home. Took the scenic route back with stops in Charlestown and Madison, Indiana. Weather happens...was a good trip.
We went out to Dayton to see the Fountains downtown. One of the largest in the world and always enjoy seeing them. Lit up at night and will feature that later this year. As for the school building - a cool and unusual design.
We did an overnight trip to Celina, Ohio, by the shores of Grand Lake St. Mary. Beautiful and very cool sights and fantastic weather. Had a wonderful time!
Great time with my wife, on a VERY rainy night but thankfully under cover at the Rose Music Center in Huber Heights, Ohio. The Marshall Tucker Band opened for the legendary ( and still great) George Thorogood and The Destroyers. It was a great time and a great rock show.
