Amazing early fall here. Weather has been remarkable with a long period of dry weather (16 days between rain) and temperatures in the low 70s. Had some beautiful Fall color here and some wonderful rides on the Triumph.
Color is fading now and leaves are falling, but have really enjoyed this season which is one of my favorite times of the year
Great time for a week visiting Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. Weather was good, especially in Virginia Beach. Beautiful sights, good food, and a great relaxing time.
We went to New Carlisle, Ohio for the parade yesterday. Had bands, Shriners, nice cars, celebrities ( local variety) and some 30 aircraft rolling down the parade route on a beautiful Saturday morning. A selection can be seen below. After the parade wandered booths downtown and enjoyed the food on sale. We had a wonderful time!
Stout drive though Ohio, thru Pennsylvania and to Rocky Gap, Maryland. Spent 4 days there. Went then to Wheeling, WV for a relaxing overnight before heading home. Great time. Only bad time was the fuel costs, right at $4 in Ohio, $4.36 in Pennsylvania. Maryland was a bit over $4 from what I saw. "Thanks" tRUMP.
Finally, after nearly two weeks of daily heavy rain, a break in the weather. We went to Celina. Ohio to Grand Lake St Mary's to spend some time at the lake. Was relaxing and nice to just enjoy nature. It's a favorite place for us and we both enjoyed the days there. Amazing and beautiful sights - and not a drop of rain!
My wife and me journeyed to nearby Xenia, Ohio to the Fair. Had a wonderful time checking out the sights, sounds, tastes, and especially enjoying checking out the animals there!
We got away for a four day trip to Southern Indiana. Wandered Rising Sun, Lawrenceburg and Aurora, Indiana. Great weather and a wonderful time!
