Was a fun experience seeing the B-29, the B-24 and the T-28 outside of the US Air Force Museum. That they were all flying historic aircraft was also a big plus.
The Air Force Museum here in Dayton is a national treasure for sure!

They had ground tours that day on the 4th and 5th. I came back on the 5th to tour them via motorcycle. Those photos on my "Racing with the Wind" Page.
That said, we had a great trip as usual and the weather was good otherwise. No rain and a lot of fun while we were there. Excellent eats and relaxing.
The Blue Heron, and the Woodpecker are difficult to get photos of. They tend to fly when they see people, but these seemed to pose for me, which was cool.
Baby ducks though are curious, and easy to photograph. As for the C-17 was flying during the rain yesterday and got that picture from my porch.
Thanks for visiting!
Have been enjoying seeing the Herons flying here, hard bird to catch. Very flighty when they see people, but that is cool because they are beautiful in flight.
A few days ago saw the first baby ducks of the year (baby geese are all over the place). Love the interesting sights to be seen here, and really enjoying living here in Ohio!
The house was an inn and tavern built on that road in Springfield in 1839. Was a stop along the road in the days when people traveled by horse.
A few more sights below, love the old buildings in the city.
Afternoon was a good time to roll into Springfield, the traffic was light that time of day, people still at work. A lot of motorcycles were out though and did a lot of waving.
After a very large renovation the house was opened to the public in 2005.
Enjoyed the ride a great deal today and looking forward to the next one. Thank you for visiting my page!
Before that took a walk and saw some historic buildings and some amazing stores. If you are ever in the area, always well worth a visit.
Sights during our travels in West Virginia, Maryland, and even a stop (at John and Annie Glenn's house in Ohio) over a four day trip to ...
