Memorial Day 2022 (May 30, 2022)

Took the photo at left yesterday, and decided to do the same on this Memorial Day. Took a walk first around the area, visiting some of the critters around the lake. Some of the baby geese are not so small anymore!

Rode out to the Air Force Museum, just wandering around the outside, and remembered those who gave the ultimate price for the rest of us. It is a price we can never repay.

Niagara Falls (May 16-18, 2022)

Got out for a few days and my wife and I took a trip to Niagara Falls. Enjoyed the night light show there and wandering around the area. As it has been really hot in Central Ohio the cooler temperatures just a stones throw from Canada were very nice. We had a great time and saw some remarkable sights. Took some very interesting walks around the falls, this being our second visit in the past few years.

Very friendly people there and they came from all over the world to see this amazing sight and one of the great natural wonders of the Earth. If you have never been, highly recommended.

Nature around the Neighborhood (May 14, 2022)

It's a fun time of year here in Central Ohio, trees are blooming, as is life. Fun to see the geese out with their families, as always enjoy seeing the rabbits and on my porch a family of Robins are getting ever larger in their nest.

The mother and father Robin are really working, as both feed them and its quite active outside of my door. This is the second year in a row they have put a nest there, and always enjoy that. I also had a Robin build a nest when I lived in Richmond, and that was also really cool. Nature is a beautiful thing and this is a great place to enjoy it.

Post Mother's Day (May 9, 2022)

Photos from the last few days, including Mother's Day here in Central Ohio. Lots of neat families as Spring is into full swing here. Have enjoyed sunny skies and much warmer weather here. It was a miserable April weather wise, so this is a pleasant surprise.

In fact have a few more rides planned on my motorcycle which is now running the roads of the local area on my "Racing with the Wind" motorcycle blog. Problem was the long cold spell and especially the days of rain. Those things seem to be coming to an end, though you can never really be certain here.

As always hope you enjoy these photos, and thank you for visiting my page.

Vote Democrat this election year!
